How To Use The Verseo ePen

Learn how to use the Verseo ePen and see just haow great this little tool is. You will need to know how to use it properly to ensure permanent hair removal. Here are the verseo epen instructions and I have listed the steps on how to use the verseo epen from the user manual for your reference,

  1. Prepare Treatment Area: Thoroughly clean treatment area by removing all make up using your normal face cleanser. The area to be treated must be thoroughly clean, dry and non-greasy. You should cut long hairs as short as possible with scissors or a razor before applying the conductive gel treatment pad.
  2. Verseo-ePen-Prep1Cut the cotton bud/Q tip in half and insert. The cotton bud/Q tip should sit against gold ring with stem fully inserted.
  3. Dip cotton bud/Q tip into the conductive gel making sure that gel also covers the gold cotton bud/Q tip holder at the front of the control unit. Cotton bud should NOT now fall out. This ensures that the cotton cotton bud/Q tip is fully conductive. (See diagram 1)
  4. Hold e-PEN the following way (see diagram 2).
  5. Slide the switch to the PROBE position. (Check red power light is on to confirm battery is working).
  6. Verseo-ePen-eyesWhen touching the treatment area, green conductive light must light up, if not put more conductive gel
onto cotton bud/Q tip and gold cotton bud/Q tip holder.
  7. The Gold cotton bud/Q tip holder can be easily removed for cleaning . Simply insert nail between plastic and gold tip holder, and pull out. Rinse in warm water to remove surplus gel.

Permanent Hair Removal Methods

Permanent Hair Removal Methods

Permanent Hair Removal Methods

There are many hair removal techniques but not many are permanent hair removal methods. What permanent means to some people are different then others of course and as an example using a permanent magic marker doesn’t mean it will never go away although on some materials like my children’s cloths it dose seem to stay forever.

I know when I was searching for weeks to find a real permanent hair removal methods I came across allot of products that said they were permanent but after some research and contacting real people that bought and used them I found out that they were not. Actually most of the hair removal creams on the market are what’s called Depilatories, which means they use a chemical to remove the hair.

How this work is by applying the hair removal cream or gel to an area like your legs and then a chemical reaction burns the hair off leave the rest of the hair below the skin to grow back out again. Now what I found interesting here was that the company advertised the product as being a proven permanent hair removal methods. Of course I contact them directly and asked how they can call it permanent and they said “the hair itself that is removed is permanently gone”. What the… What kind of misleading marketing was that?

So I have take the liberty myself to let you know what permanent hair removal methods there are and which ones are not.

Non Permanent Hair Removal Methods

  • Depilatories – Chemically remove hair above the surface of the skin. These usually come as a spray, Gel or cream form.
  • Razors – Straight forward here…it cuts the hair off so it can still grow back. I should have asked the customer service rep if using a razor was permanent because the hair that was cut off can’t grow back. Unbelievable!
  • Tweezers – Again straight forward pluck them out and they will still grow back.
  • Friction – This where you rub the hair off at the surface. Usually in the form of a mitt.
  • Waxing – It’s applied and it attaches to the hair. It is then ripped off very fast taking hair with it.
  • Sugaring – Similar to waxing as sticky strip is applied to the hair and it’s ripped away.
  • Rotary epilators – these are electric hand held tool that rotates trapping the hair and pulling it out by the roots.

Permanent Hair Removal Methods List

  • Electrolysis – Has to be done in a clinic by professionals. A needle is injected down the shaft of the hair all the way to the follicle and electric shock is applied killing the follicle. Very painful and expensive. Read more about the types of Electrolysis Removal.
  • Home ElectrolysisThe only painless, safe effective method that uses an electrical pulse that travels through the hair to the follicle killing it and the growth cells around it. This done using an ePen.  See my Verseo ePen Review which is one of the only proven at home Permanent Hair Removal Methods.
  • Laser – Has to be done in a clinic by professionals. The laser is applied to the area of unwanted hair at a determined wavelength targeting and damaging the follicle. Although considered a permanent hair removal methods it has been proven to actually reduce hair growth but no studies conclude that hair is removed forever. Read more one the many risks in this article about Laser Hair Removal In The News.
  • Flash lamp- low-range infrared radiation that are filtered to allow a specified range of wavelengths to attack dark material such as hair and hair follicles. Surprisingly I could find any long term clinical studies to back up the safety or results.

The only real permanent hair removal methods I found during my investigation, in a really quick In summary, is the Home Electrolysis method by Verseo.
