Hair Above Lip Solution

Hair Above Lip Solution

Everyday I see Verseo eGlide reviews that say the product doesn’t work and I can’t figure it out because my wife has been using the Verseo eGlide for the hair above her top lip and she says it works amazing.

She was using bleach first but then it looked like a blond mustache.  Next she tried plucking the hairs out but soon started to develop prune skin (wrinkly skin) above her top lip which even looks worst.

Hair Above Lip Solution

When I seen the Verseo eGlide it only made sense to buy her one because it’s a permanent hair removal system that uses electrolysis but does it without the pain.

She has been using the new home electrolysis tool for about 2 months and the prune lips have just about disappeared. I should have taken some Verseo eGlide before and after picture but we originally bought it for the hair above lip problem and not as a  prune lip treatment. I do have a picture showing that the wrinkles above her lip are almost gone which is very amazing because there were many wrinkles before.

As you can see by the picture in the top right she is using the eGlide to remove the hair above her lip and you can see whats left of the prune lips she had. The wrinkles are almost gone.

Also, she says the hair has just about stopped growing and she only has a few left. In total she has used the eGlide on her top lip around once a week or sometimes twice a week. It’s recommended to use the eGlide every other day so that it consistently zaps the hair follicles until the growth cells around them are dead.

Not A Solution For Hair Above Lip Issue

Do not pluck!! My wife has never had wrinkles above her top lip before until she started plucking out the hairs. Of course wrinkles above the lips amongst other places on the face are part of the aging process but plucking hair above the lip caused them instantly for her.

If you chose to remove the hair above your top lip with a inhibitor be very careful because they can burn the skin, especially in the sensitive areas. Also the more attention you place on the area above the lip can actually draw more attention then having the hairs there to begin with.

A very safe hair removal product to use on the sensitive areas like on the hair above the lip is the Verseo eGlide. Yes it does work! The truth is it does take some time because it sends a small electrical charge you cannot feel through the skin killing the growth cells around the hair follicle. I does this a little bit at at time each time so results are not seen right away.

Give it some time and your hair above lip issues will be gone just like it worked for my wife.

How To Wax Hair In The Bikini Line

1. Buy Bikini Hard Wax Kithow to wax hair for around $18. I recommend using hard wax for bikini area because the hair is coarse. Hard wax goes on smooth, but hardens so that it doesn’t require a strip to be removed. The following directions are for the use of hard wax.

2. Have enough hair. Grow bikini hair out to at least 1/4″ long. Use hair clippers to trim hair down if longer than 1/2″. Scissors don’t work well for trimming because you run the risk of making some hair too short.

3. Cleanse skin. Use pre-wax cleanser on bikini area and apply pre-epilation oil which works with hard wax. Don’t over do it on the oil, more isn’t better.

4. Apply wax. Using an applicator, apply wax evenly FIRST the opposite direction of hair growth, and then WITH the direction of hair growth to a large area (about 4 ½” long and 2 ½” wide)in the same stroke. Don’t stop at the edge of where the hair grows, go passed that point. You will use the part of the wax that isn’t attached to hair as a tab to remove it. The wax will dull as it hardens, and will not be tacky. If the wax isn’t hard enough when removed, it won’t take away all of the hair.

5. Remove hair. Lightly flick up a small part of the wax that isn’t attached to hair on the end to be used as a tab once cooled. Say hair grows from left to right- the end is on the right side. Hold skin taut with one hand, and remove wax in opposite direction of hair growth in one quick pull, all the way to the other side. Don’t pull up, which might be your natural inclination. Press hand down on skin to help relieve some of the pain, after wax is removed. (Sounds silly, but it works!)

6. Repeat. Work your way waxing bikini area, repeating steps 4 and 5.

7. Get missed hairs. Use tweezers to remove any hairs missed by the wax.

8. Clean skin. Remove any remaining residue, with wax remover.

9. Soothe skin. Apply after-wax lotion, or an aloe based lotion or gel.

10. After care. The bikini area has a tendency for ingrown hairs. Two days after wax, lightly exfoliate area to try to avoid ingrown hairs and try Flawless Ingrown Hair Serum (read review) if you do end up getting any.

Tips:

1. Waxing can cause red bumps, ingrown hairs and bruising. Read more about how to prevent and stay clear of waxing side effects.
2. Practice using the wax on a small part of your body, like your arm so you get the feel of it. Always test small amount of wax on hand before putting on bikini zone, to make sure it’s warm, not hot.
3. There are some circumstances in which you shouldn’t wax. Read: Waxing Precautions & Warnings for the full list.
4. Take an asprin or ibuprofen 30 – 45 minutes before waxing, and apply a numbing spray (compare prices) if you’re concerned about the ‘ouch factor’. Read: Top Ten Tips to Reduce Waxing Pain for the full run-down.
5. A couple weeks before waxing your bikini area, shave exactly what hair you want removed and make the bikini lines even on both sides. Once it grows back it will make waxing the area you need to remove hair easier to follow.

What You Need:

* Wax warmer
* Hard wax
* Pre-wax cleanser
* Pre-epilation oil
* Square-edge applicators which makes getting a straight line easier
* Wax remover for the skin (or you can use baby oil or petroleum jelly)
* After- wax lotion, or aloe based gel.

How To Wax Hair On The Face

Waxing Eyebrows

I highly recommend Creme Wax Systemhow to wax hair heated up in a microwave. Great for delicate facial skin because it’s one of the gentlest waxes, it’s also easier to work with than honey waxes because of its less sticky consistency. While the cold wax strips seem like less work, they don’t grab onto the hair as well as heated wax.

1. Buy Creme Wax kit.

2. Have enough hair. Facial hair needs to be at least 1/4″ long.

3. Pull or pin-back hair. You don’t want your hair in the way or end up getting wax in it.

4. Wash hands. You would never work with dirty tools, would do?

5. Cleanse facial area. Wash face to rid makeup and oil, pay dry and then apply a pre-wax cleanser. Lightly dust powder on area to be waxed. Don’t over do it on the powder, more isn’t better.

6. Wax on. Apply wax evenly in the direction of hair growth using applicator (wooden stick) to the hair in somewhat small sections. Be careful! You want enough wax to thoroughly cover hair, but not so thick that it becomes too thick to remove.

7. Cover with strip. Apply strip in the direction of hair growth, leaving some leftover strip at the end not attached to hair like a tab (say hair grows from left to right- leave leftover strip on right side). Press and firmly smooth hand over strip in the direction of hair growth a couple times, to ensure wax is attaching to hair and has slightly cooled.

8. Wax off. Grasp onto the end of strip that isn’t attached to hair. Hold skin taut with one hand, and remove strip in opposite direction of hair growth in one quick pull, all the way to the other side. Don’t pull up, which might be your natural inclination. Press hand down on skin to help relieve some of the pain, after strip is removed. (Sounds silly, but it works!) If a little bit of wax with hair remains, simply put strip back on hair and pull off.

9. Repeat. Continue with steps 6-8 working in sections until you have removed unwanted hair. Don’t apply wax over the same area twice or you can burn or severely irritate your skin.

10. Clean up missed hairs. Use clean tweezers to remove any hairs missed by the wax.

11. Clean wax off skin. Remove any remaining residue, with wax remover, baby oil or petroleum jelly.

12. Soothe skin. Apply after-wax lotion, or an aloe based lotion or gel.

Tips:

1. Do NOT perform facial hair waxing you are taking Accutane. Read: Waxing Precautions & Warnings for the full list.
2. Wax in front of a large mirror (not hand-held) so you can see clearly.
3. Practice using the wax on a small part of your body, like your arm so you get the feel of it. Always test small amount of wax on hand before waxing, to make sure it’s warm, not hot.
4. If you’re worried about pain, apply a numbing spray (compare prices) to a cotton swab and then to eyebrow area. Make sure not to get directly in eyes!
5. After waxing keep hands away from skin to avoid getting red bumps and irritation. See other ways to prevent side effects of waxing.

What You Need:

* Wax warmer
* Cream wax
* Pre-wax cleanser
* Baby powder
* Muslin or pellon strips
* Wooden applicators
* Wax remover for the skin (or you can use baby oil or petroleum jelly)
* After- wax lotion, or aloe based gel
* Tweezers
